Abstract:
Due to the interconnectedness and depth of today’s dynamic supply chains, turbulence in the marketplace or disruptions in supply can be disastrous for business. We will review how competent supply chain management has become essential for companies today. Then we’ll discuss why supply chain agility, in particular, is the new superpower to leapfrog competition in times of crisis. Procurement is one of the most important features of supply chain management. So we will take a closer look at one example of procurement technology that enhances agility by automating supplier engagement and negotiations. This robo-negotiations platform can cut costs, free up resources, improve transparency, and speed up business operations, all of which enhance agility.
