Dr. Girish Mamtani

Girish Mamtani holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working with Allianz Global Investors as an Investment Risk Manager responsible for oversight of Market Risk management. Over the years, he has strengthened investment Risk frameworks across public markets asset classes by overseeing key market risk metrics while leading macroeconomic analysis and fulfilling regulatory reporting and governance responsibilities. He has been closely involved in evaluating new product initiatives and integrating new risk systems. With hands-on expertise in both ex-post and ex-ante analysis, Girish has consistently contributed to bridging risk insights with investment decisions, supporting firms in navigating complex market environments.

Girish is a CQF alumni and a Financial Risk Manager – certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
